The Tiki Caves is the third episode of Season 4 of The Brady Bunch, and the 75th overall episode of the series. Written by Tam Spiva and directed by Jack Arnold, it originally aired 6 October 1972 on ABC.
An archaeologist traps the boys in the cave, somehow concluding they have conspired to steal his latest "find," but Mike and Carol are able to track down their sons and convince him he will receive proper credit.
As instructed by old Mr. Hanalei, Greg, Peter and Bobby go to the ancient burial caves to return what they believe is the bad luck tiki idol to appease the Hawaiian gods. They are being shadowed by a mysterious and solitary man. Archaeologist Professor Whitehead, believing the boys have come to steal his latest "find", holds them captive. He will resort to anything to get rid of the boys so that they can't or won't report what they've seen in the caves. Meanwhile the girls, who know what the boys are up to, have to decide what to do when the boys are gone longer than they should have been. After the girls reveal their siblings' whereabouts, Mike and Carol have to find out where the caves are. Mike rescues his sons, then convinces the professor that they have no intention of claiming credit for finding the burial grounds. A Hawaiian party wraps up the Bradys' latest vacation.
