Vincent Price (27 May 1911 - 25 October 1993) was a popular actor who appeared in many classic horror movies. Vincent made a guest appearance as Professor Hubert Whitehead in two episodes of The Brady Bunch in Season 3, "Pass the Tabu" and "The Tiki Caves".


Price started out as a character actor. He made his film debut in 1930 with the film Service de Luxe and established himself in the film Laura (1944), opposite Gene Tierney, directed by Otto Preminger. He also played Joseph Smith in the movie Brigham Young (1940) and William Gibbs McAdoo in Wilson (1944) as well as a pretentious priest in The Keys of the Kingdom (1944).

By the 1960s, Vincent Price was working almost exclusively in the horror genre and teen film genres. Price's film credits also include House of Wax (1953), House of Usher (1960), The Pit and the Pendulum (1961), The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971) and Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands (1990). He also voiced the villain Professor Ratigan in Disney's The Great Mouse Detective (1986).

In addition to acting, Price was a gourmet chef, writing extensively on the subject and hosting television cooking shows in the 1980s and 1990s.

Price's final film was Edward Scissorhands (1990).
